Define “Journalism” in 1-3 sentences:
The spreading of current events that are news worthy through newspaper and the enternet. They must be printed.
List and describe the six criteria of newsworthiness.
TITLE DESCRIPTION EXAMPLE
1. Timelyness: Caring about things that are current. Watching tv and seeing things that will be happening in the future or present. Swine Flu happenings.
2. Proximity: Care about things that are near to us, how close you are location wise to things going on. Car accident on 35W.

Advertising Videos!
1.ps2, gamers who play them. A bit of humor but didnt really work. Shot them all looking at the peice of pizza then taclking him. Gameday. It was not effective at all.
2. Budwiser, Audience anyone who is over 21 and men who like to watch football, definetly used humor to catch the persons attention, they used it so you would get the whole picture and then just focus in on the 2 guys that were watching what was happening. Budwiser. Yea sort of because it is during football season.
3. Chrysler. Men and women both who enjoy nice cars and people old enough to drive. The were using a lot of interest, with women in a fast car. The camera only focused in on the front of the car where the car lable was and switched to other parts of it and along the side and then the shot of the pretty woman driving it. Slogan: Drive and Love. Yes lots of men would love to have a car like that.
4. Pepsi, people of all ages are the ones being targeted. Teens and Elder alike. Humor along with some celeberities. They showed the wole room then focused in on the can when the time came. Pepsi Twist. Not really didnt catch my attention much.
5. FedEx, those who use some sort of mailing system to get their stuff across seas and stuff women more kind of. A little bit of humor with some interest. Only showed clips of him on the island with the box and then the final outcome. Their promise to get it to you. Not really.
6. Dodge, Men who drive heavy duty trucks. they used humor and a bit of action. they only showed them sitting in the car and then a bit of the exterior. Grab life by the horns. Not really.
7. Gatorade, anyone that plays basketball or any sort of sport that involves drinking lots of water. Celeberties and interest. Only showed them playing on the court then sweating the color gatorade they were drinking. Is it in you? Yea a little I guess.
8. ESPN, everyone men cooks anything and everyone with audience that has played a sport. they used humor and celebs. Just shot it in the kitchen and also the person finding the ring in the food. Sports Center. Kind of not really.
9. H&R Block, anyone that has to do taxes. Humor and also Celebs. Shot willy in the commercial shoot and then finding out about his taxes. We will find what others miss, double check.
